Bill Van De Yacht began well drilling in 1963 and was one of the first to adopt a rotary well drilling rig in 1967. The rotary rig increased the time to complete a well from over a week to only one day, a major increase in efficiency. In 1988 he named the company Bill Van De Yacht Water Well and Specialized Drilling, Inc. This name served us well for over 20 years. With Bill’s retirement in 2004 and our continually changing market, we are excited to introduce Ground Source, Inc.

Why are we so excited about our name change??

People are discovering Geothermal as a way to save money on their heating and cooling costs. This has resulted in Geothermal Installations becoming a large portion of our business.

We wanted to simplify our name - making it easy to say and remember.
